They say “All dogs go to heaven” and I really hope so as there isn’t a place more fitting for you. In a few weeks time, it would have been a year since you’ve passed and there isn’t a day that passes by that I do not miss you. Are you fine now? Is your leg still hurting? Your heart still aching? Do you have enough to eat? I will never forget the day you were so suddenly taken away from us, no one prepared us for this and I so blame myself for not detecting your blood cancer even though all vets said there was nothing we could do. We enjoyed 13 good years and even though 14th will not be forthcoming, I am extremely grateful that you came into our lives and touched us with your positivity, enthusiasm and kindness and I can say we are better for it.
