A Poem Letter to my dear Sis in Heaven
Hey! How are things over where you are?
In a world far from secular pain
And incessant doings.
In a world where stillness triumphs
And wisdom rides along simplicity.
In that divine world I envisioned for you,
With love and unparalleled hue.
How are things over where you are?
Does the sun still rise in the East
And disappear in the West?
Is the sea still vast and does it
Spread beyond our knowing?
Does the little hummingbird in your world still hum
By flapping its splendid wings?
Hey! How are things over where you are?
Just today, I saw a blue robin.
Unusual, uncommon but it was here with me.
A little gesture, a little nod,
This robin sent me a moment of peace,
A reprieve in serenity.
Did you see the robin from where you are?
Can you still see me, from where you are?
I wish you could see me from afar,
Like the way I still feel you all the while.
In the rainbow,
On the star,
I see you laughing as in the past.
How are things over where you are?
Will you still know me,
When I finally arrive at where you are?
